Bash log

If your finger hurts from typing the uparrow key to retrieve that magic console command from long ago, take a look at the ~/.bash_history file in your home directory.

You can also change the log size by setting the HISTFILESIZE and HISTSIZE variable (on my system, the default seems to be 1000). See this discussion.
