Here's my first one.
-----------------------------------
Problem 1: Lack of comments

One of the first things I do on a blog is check out how many comments there are. A lack of comments instantly turns me off, because I consider comments to be a good metric for determining how useful the articles are. If my initial scan turns up lots of “0 comments” notices, I almost always just close the window.
In my first ProBlogger guest post, on how to make your blog addictive, I talked about social proof and the fact that people need to see that other people are involved on a blog before they themselves get involved. Human beings really don’t like being first—it’s too scary.Renéhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13939228016165371166noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-613657930224334079.post-83588208972769008212010-08-10T17:03:49.896+02:002010-08-10T17:03:49.896+02:00Yep, that part was almost fun :-) On the whole, it...Yep, that part was almost fun :-) On the whole, it could be worse - system's up and running, my Python code works and the Ubuntu forums are a font of neverending wisdom.
I just miss good old YaST and did I mention this computer has to hold up until the New Year?avocadoheadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12354769500516971265noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-613657930224334079.post-10792443367078709452010-08-10T13:37:05.133+02:002010-08-10T13:37:05.133+02:00Thanks for the post, I immediately tried the metho...Thanks for the post, I immediately tried the method out to create the "rescue pen drive" with a working Xubuntu 10.04, which works like a charme. Hope that saves me from a lot of headache in the future.
Bad luck still for you...DaWuzzzzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03323121599625195222noreply@blogger.com
